  1. MInas Gerais looks so amazing. I'm so captivated by Inhotim -- that video was truly beautiful and it was nice to heart the creator of the park talk about nature and art and the effect they have on people. One day when I got to Brazil I'm definitely going to travel to Minas Gerais. The older architecture is so beautiful too! The church is so ornate and beautiful to look at.

  2. I love all of the photos that you included. It is one thing to watch videos about a place and see professional photos... but seeing personal photos makes it so real and reiterates the beauty that the city holds. I also am so interested in music from different places. I love the two different styles on here! But the food just makes me sad because I am gluten free and all I want now is pão de queijo :/

  3. You did a really good job on Minais Gerais. I feel like you managed to capture the most important aspects of it through photos and video. By far my favorite thing was Inhotim. I'm assuming it's free since it is open to all sorts of people it seemed from rich to poor he said. It would be so cool to have something at that capacity in the U.S. The food looked delicious as well.

  4. Minas Gerais looks like it is a great place to sight see, especially to go around the Inhotim! It would probably take around 2 or 3 days to see the whole thing. I had no idea that pão de queijo originated from here I love it because I'm also gluten free like Ivana. The food looks so delicious I would love to try frango con quiabo it looks like it would be spicy and delicious! I might have to try and make it!

  5. This was a very interesting presentation! It was so cool to learn how Minas Gerais is so full of culture and history. I found the Igreja de São Francisco de Assis to be particularly interesting, mainly because of the attention to detail in its architecture. I would also love to visit Inhotim Contemporary Art Museum; I love outdoor spaces and finding ways to incorporate Nature into art!

  6. What caught my attention was the stadium because it was where Brazil lost to Germany some time back; however, Brazil did not want to have that stadium as a reminder of a place of lost hope, so they decided to rebuild it for the better by making it different and adding new features! It was a win-win for all. Igreja de São Francisco de Assis is also a beautiful building because not only was it painted that way - and constructed - but it was painted by someone who was very talented even though he or she did not have any hands!
